Hello, I'm Lucas Casper, owner of Casper Building Services, LLC. d/b/a Casper Builders, a local residential construction business serving the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City Corridor. I have a genuine passion for turning ideas into real structures. Over the past 20+ years, I've gained practical experience and training in both residential and commercial construction.
Born and raised in the small town of Kalona, Iowa, I grew up as the middle son among three brothers. My story in construction began during the summers of high school and college, where I honed my skills, focusing primarily on roofing and painting.
Post-college, I ventured into the corporate world, quickly realizing that the confines of an office desk didn't align with my passion. I missed the satisfaction of building and creating with my own two hands. So, I returned to construction, taking on various roles – from groundworks to expert finish carpentry – both as an employee and as an independent contractor.
Then, in 2017, I took a leap of faith and founded Casper Building Services (operating as Casper Builders). Since our beginning, my team and I have worked tirelessly to establish a reputation synonymous with integrity and craftsmanship.
Today, Casper Builders proudly engages in a diverse range of residential construction projects.
